About Pisces Zodiac Sign
Pisces is the zodiac's twelfth sign, and throughout the zodiacal cycle, it is also the final sign. This symbol, therefore, puts together many of the features of the eleven signs that came before it. Pisces, however, are happier to keep all of these traits under wraps. These people are selfless, spiritual, and their inner path is very centred.
They even apply tremendous weight to what they see. Yeah, the Pisces zodiac sign is characterised by emotions, and it is not rare for them to experience their own struggles (and joys) as well as those of others. Highly developed is the intuition of the Pisces-born. Many people connect dreams and secrets with Pisces, and it's a reasonable correlation, because in an illusory universe, those born under this sign feel relaxed.
Pisces Symbol Myth
There have been many divine figures in history associated with the constellation known as Pisces, such as Poseidon/Neptune, Christ, Vishnu, and the Sumerian goddess Inanna. Pisces is the Latin word for "fish," and this constellation represents the koi fish which saved Aphrodite and her son Eros from the sea monster Typhon in Greek mythology.
The two fishes were placed in the heavens as a reward to shine for all eternity. It is said that Venus, the Roman version of Aphrodite, has an exalted position in Pisces, an affinity which echoes back to her gratitude for the hospitality and help of the fishes.
Pisces Season
The fish season begins on February 19 in the western tropical zodiac, beginning with the final winter phase in the Northern Hemisphere. This is the time of year when the winter chill begins to yield to Spring's oncoming warmth, and the days continue to rise in light. In the reflective and inwardly creative imaginings of the Piscean archetype, the underlying seasonal sense that growth and renewal are soon returning to the world is mirrored.
Pisces as A Mutable Sign
At the end of one season and the beginning of the next, Pisces is the fourth and final of the mutable signs in the zodiac wheel, all of which hold an energy of change, liminality, and adaptation. When the cold season is less established, Pisces begins the last phase of winter, lending to Pisces' fluid and changeable sign characteristics.
Pisces in Water Element
The element of Pisces is water, the second heaviest element, thought to be fluid, adaptive, yet a tangible form of matter by ancient astrologers. The moistening and cohering concept that links and connects all aspects of nature is expressed by water.
Nothing that takes a material shape could "stick" together without it. Water fertilises the world so that it may incubate and bloom with nature and innovation. The creativity, intuition, imagination, and strong inter-relational talents of Pisces are all akin to the water element's connectivity.
Pisces: Ruling Body Part
The lymphatic system, feet, toes and adipose tissue or fat are controlled by this sign. This often urges them, especially in their face, to have a fleshy appearance. With first class foot massages all the way, focus on the feet-even if their feet look a bit weird!
They might have a penchant for shoes, or riverboat-like feet. They're going to be clumsy and trip over their toes often, they might even be a little bit pigeon toed. Basically, they are 'bubble' people who need to energetically create a protective space around them, or everything falls apart, and they lose their connection to the earth, represented by their feet.
