As per the details of the mythology there was a girl named Sushila who after getting the knowledge of Lord Anant's vow took a vow herself. The vow that she took made her and her husband very rich. They started enjoying their life and there was nothing less for them. Sushila was utterly devoted toward her vow and she used to follow all the rituals seriously. One day her husband found her wife worshipping Ananta and an argument between them broke out. He insisted that all the wealth and happiness that they posses is due to his hard work and dedication and he refused to believe on the blessings of Lord Anant. From then onwards, everything started going downhill in their life, poverty struck them and after that they had to go through very difficult times of their life.2016

All these miseries made this thing very clear to the husband of Sushila that he made a huge mistake by not cherishing Lord's kindness but questioning it. Kaundinya, the husband of Sushila, then spent his life in the search of Lord Anant. It is not an easy task to find the Lord. Disappointed from all his efforts in finding him, he decided to give up his life. This approach of him made Lord Anant appear in front of him. Lord Anant came in front of him in the form of a Brahmin and advised him to follow the rituals with pure heart. As advised Kaundinya then took care of all the rituals and with pure heart he performed the rituals, took vow and also worshipped Lord Anant. This filled their life again with abundant happiness and health.2016
